
Each clinician participate in our extensive in-house sleep training (PDS training program is approved by the AARC for 32.75 CRCE.)
Clinical staff are required to maintain BLS credentials, meet the Joint Commission requirements, and when eligible, pursue the Registered Polysomnographer credential.
PDS, Inc has been granted AASM A-Step Accreditation. A-Step Accreditation means that PDS, Inc is an approved facility to provide standardized and advanced education for sleep technologists.
The A-Step program contains two steps: the first step is two weeks of intense classroom training and passing of an AASM A-Step exam. The second step @includes clinical training for a period of 18 months while also completing a number of on-line modules created by the AASM. After completion of step two, the student would be eligible for the RPSGT Exam.
PDS is the 22nd provider throughout the United States and the only one in the Upper Midwest to receive this accreditation for its educational component. PDS, Inc. is one of a trio of sleep disorder-related businesses that also @includes the North Dakota Center for Sleep and Sleep Easy Therapeutics. The North Dakota Center for Sleep is an independent diagnostic testing facility dedicated to the diagnosis and follow-up of individuals with sleep disorders. Sleep Easy is a place where patients can purchase sleep supplies, ask questions and get expert advice, regardless of where they were diagnosed or treated. The three organizations operate from one location at their corporate headquarters in Fargo.
